I’m Jackie Pflug: writer, speaker, and survivor.
In 1985, I lived through a hijacking that nearly took my life. That moment changed everything. My recovery was long and layered—learning to read, speak, and trust life again—but it eventually led me here.
Today, I write and speak to share my story and help others navigate their own turning points. Whether you’re facing loss, transition, or simply searching for meaning, my work is rooted in the belief that we are all capable of rising again—especially when we learn to listen to our inner voice.
My mission is to share stories that stir something inside you—stories that remind you: you’re not alone, and it’s never too late to begin again.

We all face moments that shake us, break us, or change us. I believe those moments—whether dramatic or quiet—carry the seeds of awakening. Through storytelling, reflection, and choosing to say “yes” to life again and again, we can find our way back to joy, truth, and meaning.

"At age 70, I’m certainly not at the end of my journey—in fact, my journey is just beginning."
For years, I shared the story of surviving a hijacking. But there’s another chapter I hadn’t told—one about rediscovering myself, piece by piece, long after the trauma faded from the headlines.
It’s taken decades of listening, shedding, healing, and choosing joy—again and again.
I’m not here to tell you how to fix yourself. I’m here to remind you that your inner voice has always been there, waiting to guide you home.
It’s never too late to wake up to your life.
